More Good News For Agencies
A report carried out by Willott Kingston Smith has found that British agencies are making profits that for the first time exceed those of pre-recession 1985.
All sectors of the industry showed increased income, but the fastest growing areas were found to be direct marketing and sales promotion and public relations. The design sector continues to recover, but is the only area still earning less than it was in September 1992.
Although, as the report indicates, increased income is no guarantee for increased profitability, this is largely due to rising inflation and staff costs.
