New Internet Title For Future

New Internet Title For Future

Connect, a new monthly Internet magazine from Future Publishing is launching on May 29. Aimed at the 18-34 year old Internet user, it promises to be the ultimate guide to Internet entertainment, bypassing ‘technobabble’ and ensuring users make the most of their online time.

Each issue will include an exclusive CD covermount while the editorial will have in-depth features on the latest cyber developments with extensive reviews of hundreds of new Websites.

The three-strong .net advertising team based at the Pearson New Entertainment offices in London and headed by Jackie Garford will manage advertising on the magazine.

The launch will be supported by promotions in major retail outlets and an advertising campaign in national broadsheet computing supplements, Time Out and student newspapers.

Over 350,000 16-page samplers of Connect will be inserted into the May issues of .net magazine and PC Gamer and the June issues of PC Format and Total Film.

The magazine will have a cover-price of £4.99 and an initial print-run of 50,000. It is expected a settledown circulation of 25,000 will be achieved.
