H. Bauer has closed its troubled weekly celebrity gossip title Enjoy! .
The title, which launched last September, was given a facelift in January *Enjoy! The Change, but the new look failed to turnaround the falling readership. Although no official audits were conducted on sales, estimates put circulation at between 130,000 to 200,000 a week. In comparison, Woman, the women’s weeklies market leader, sells 828,114 copies a week, according to the latest ABC figures.
It is estimated that Bauer ploughed more than £3 million into the title.
