WPP Group has introduced a stock option programme for all its people around the world with the first grants being made this month. WPP plans to make annual grants of fair market value stock options to all full-time people in the Group with two years service who work in wholly-owned operating companies. This will enable all 22,000 people in the Group to become share-owners. It is intended to develop a share-ownership culture within the Group and give everyone a stake in the financial success of WPP.
