Classic FM is looking to build its audience share with a range of changes set for the New Year. These include the return of Paul Gambaccini to host the weekend chart shows; a new breakfast show with Nick Bailey and Henry Kelly; Sunday afternoons with David Mellor; and a new Friday evening music review slot with Richard Baker.
Classic FM director Steve Orchard commented: “In terms of listening figures, November has proved one of the best months so far for Classic FM which has recorded all time highs in terms of share and reach. We now have the BBC firmly in our sights in the knowledge that Radios 1, 2 and 4 are fertile hunting ground for growing our audience share.”
