BBC Magazines has closed its Clothes Show Magazine due to insufficient returns on investment. The BBC anticipates that most of the personnel will be ‘redeployed’ within the corporation. BBC Worldwide is planning two new monthly magazines in the science and home interest sectors for launch early next year.
The Clothes Show Magazine‘s last ABC audit put its circulation at 150,494 (ABC Jan-Jun 1997). This represents a further decline from January 1996 when the circulation stood at 160,013 (ABC Jan-Jun 1996).
