The Mail Online has surged ahead of other online newspapers according to the latest data from ABC.
To coincide with DMGT’s own reports of a huge 74% increase in revenue to £28m in the year ending 30 September, the Mail Online was edging over 6.6 million daily unique readers in October – up 305,016 (4.8%) on the previous month.

The Guardian.co.uk was in second place, up 7.6% with just over 3.9 million unique browsers after recovering from a dip last month in its otherwise upward trend.
Trailing behind with over 2.8 million daily online readers was the Telegraph.co.uk – but still improving with over half a million more online readers than October 2011.
On a much flatter trajectory was the Sun.co.uk with a little over 1.5 million unique readers (-1.5 on last month), and remaining in bottom place with less than a million browsers each, the Independent.co.uk and Mirror.co.uk, despite increases in online readership of 8.1% and 3.5% on last month, respectively.
