MTV Networks Europe will launch its UK version of the channel into over 6 million cable and satellite homes across the UK and Ireland from July 1 (see New MTV Channels Announced).
The new channel, tailored for a UK audience, will feature British presenters, new shows and the first phase of a redeveloped on-air identity. There will also be an increase in total music hours on the channel and a higher rotation and earlier support of videos.
