One third of 16-24 years old are registered with 4oD

Speaking at London’s Digital TV Summit, Channel 4’s head of VOD, Sarah Milton, revealed that one in three people aged 16-24 in the UK are now registered users of on demand service 4oD.

Sarah went on to say the service now has 6 million core registered users and 4-5 million monthly unique users but mobile views have seen slow growth, just up 1% year on year.

Some 10 million people use 4oD across all devices per month. Milton also said that the service expects to have half a billion streams this year.

She added that 44% of viewers say they watch more Channel 4 programming once they have registered.
