The combined terrestrial TV revenue for May, according to agency estimates, came in at £193.31 million which is a drop of 3.83% year-on-year. ITV’s revenue came in at £148.81m while Channel 4’s reached £46.5m. It is also estimated that C5’s May revenue reached £11m which is a welcome increase on April’s figure of £9.67m. In terms of ITV franchise areas Central and Meridian both performed well, increasing their ITV revenue shares by 0.92% points (to 16.87%) and 0.72% points (to 11.98%). LWT suffered in May with a fall of 1.11% points year on year to 10.78%.
