Nynex CableComms, one of the UK’s largest cable operators, has announced that it has started carrying Channel 5 to all of its franchise areas. This will enable those people who receive a poor terrestrial C5 signal to view the channel via their cable subscription without interference. Those people who are not cable subscribers will have to invest up to £200 to upgrade their aerial to overcome reception difficulties in some regions.
