Sharp Sponsor

Laser Satellite and Cable has coordinated a sponsorship deal for Granada Good Life ‘s Food and Wine programme strand. Sharp’s Microwave Magic will sponsor the strand with a package of air-time and advertorials.

Themed road-shows will take place during the summer at county shows and shopping centres nationwide. These will feature practical demonstrations and a competition to find the Microwave Cook Of The Year; the winner will appear on a segment of the programme.

Sharp Electronics’ sponsorship runs for six months from 2 April. The Granada Food and Wine Programme Strand airs each day between 9am and 12 noon as part of the Granada Sky Broadcasting package. Microwave Magic will air three times a week.

Laser has also arranged a sponsorship deal with Uncle Ben’s Rice. The rice company will sponsor Flavours of The Orient, a new programme coming to Granada Good Life’s Food and Wine programme strand. This deal also includes a package of air-time and broadcast sponsorship. The broadcast sponsorship starts on April 14.
