New MD For Northcliffe Titles

Colin Davidson will become managing director of the Cheltenham Newspaper and Gloucestershire Newspaper groups, which are both owned by Northcliffe Newspapers, on 5 May.

This position is currently held by Ron Hill who will become chairman. Davidson is currently the managing director and managing editor of Northcliffe’s North Devon Journal-Herald group and prior to this he was editor of the Western Morning News in Plymouth.

Until Davidson’s replacement is found Roger Lewis, finance director, will be responsible for all of the North Devon Journal-Herald’s business.
