The Sunday Times achieved the highest readership figures in this market over the last six monthsreaching 3,764,000 people in this period; although the paper saw 1.98% change year-on-year. The Telegraph was the most popular daily, rising 13.64% year-on-year to 2,808,000. The Independent, meanwhile, is still struggling, the daily lost 7.07% falling to 775,000 readers, while the Sunday edition fell 5.84% to 887,000 in this period.
The Mid Market
The Mail remains the leader of this sector, the daily paper has increased its share by 6.23% year-on-year to 5,288,000. The Express still trails along way behind its chief competitor, and is still losing readership. The Tabloid Market
The Sun is the daily leader in this sector while its sister paper The News Of The World dominates the Sunday tabloid readership. The Sunday Sport is at the bottom of the pile, but it is fighting back, increasing its readership by 5.62% to 865,000 in this period.
