A new concept in magazine publishing claims to be arriving on news-stands on 18 September. Cover will be a compilation of feature articles and photographs from magazines and newspapers from around the world, ranging from The Economist to The New York Times, from Esquire to Elle.

The monthly title, backed by investment capital group 3i, will be aimed at the busy ABC1 reader and claims to have the solution to information overload. Co-editor, Danny Danziger said: “There has been an enormous growth of reading material in recent years, with newspapers getting bigger and bigger. And on top of that, there’s a huge array of tempting magazines, there just isn’t the time for all of them. Cover magazine not only covers the magazines and newspapers you are interested in, it introduces you to publications you may not know.”

The title, published by Readers’ Choice Ltd, will be full-colour, 175x255mm, with 100 pages and a strong visual content. It goes on sale at £2.50

In addition to the monthly magazine, there are plans to produce specials on food and health and other consumer topics.
