The ITV Network Centre is claiming that an average of 15 million viewers tuned into A Touch Of Frost last Sunday. ITV assert that the unofficial overnight data, supplied by AGB, show that A Touch Of Frost triumphed over BBC 1’s Ballykissangel and Ivanhoe in the ratings battle.
According to the findings Ballykissangel attracted 8 million viewers, dropping 5 million week-on-week. Ivanhoe was reported to be almost 12 million viewers behind Frost with 4.2 million.
If the figures are correct, ITV obtained a peak-time share of 46.8% on Sunday, while the BBC took 26%.
