ONdigital On Track For Launch

During the weekend, there were reports circulating in The Mail On Sunday that the set-top boxes for ONdigital’s digital terrestrial television service were not going to be available at the time of the service’s launch on 15 November (see Newsline).

However, Andrew Marre at ONdigital told Newsline this morning that this rumour is totally untrue, and the group advised The Mail On Sunday of this, who proceeded to run the story regardless.

ONdigital announced today that it is to publish a free full listings colour magazine for its customers. The title will be called The ONdigital TV Guide and will be published by TPD. Due for launch on 1 January, a few months after the launch of the ONdigital service, the monthly title will contain full listings of all ONdigital’s programming and will be mailed free to all of its customers.
