ITV’s one-off drama Goodnight Mr Tom has proven to be a hit with the viewers. The World War II set drama starring John Thaw pulled in 13.81 million viewers and captured 4th on the top thirty programmes list.

Despite the negative press coverage of the programme, LWT’s Moment Of Truth is still managing to hold onto its audience. This week’s episode was watched by 8.36 million, which put it comfortably ahead of BBC1’s Noel’s House Party which only had 7.29 million viewers and was shown at the same time.

Proving himself to be the nation’s favourite documentary maker, David Attenborough’s Life Of Birds flies into this week’s top thirty list. The aviary-themed programme holds the 29th position jointly with ITV’s Great Escapes with an audience of 8.1 million people.
