Talk Loses Sales Executive To Classic

Talk Radio has suffered a further loss of staff since being bought by Kelvin MacKenzie’s TalkCo, as senior sales executive Rachel McHugh leaves to join GWR sales operation, Opus.

McHugh joins Opus on 30 November as Classic FM sales executive working under Classic FM group head of sales, Gerry Boniface, who says: “Rachel is an extremely talented and highly professional sales executive, and I know that Talk are reluctant to let her go. Here at Opus, Rachel will be working on senior agency patch”.

Since Talk Radio was bought by TalkCo (see TalkCo Settles With CLT On Price For Talk Radio), star presenter Kirsty Young and managing director, Paul Robinson, have both left the station (see Newsline Brief).
