Trouble For Masthead Programming
The Flextech-owned channel Trouble has signed a deal with publisher Attic Futura to produce a masthead programme of its title, Sugar. The programme, called Sugar’s Real Life Stories, will be a series of 13 x 30 minute episodes and will focus on the life experiences of teenagers.
This follows a deal struck between Trouble and Attic Futura earlier in the year involving cross endorsements and editorial ‘interweaving’ (see Newsline).
Clare James, publisher of Sugar, commented: “This is another important step in an already successful relationship. The profile of Trouble matches perfectly that of Sugar which has already proved itself to be a powerful brand with huge appeal to the teenage market. Bringing to life part of the magazine is the next natural stage of development for the brand. Real life stories are hugely popular with our readers, they love to share the experinces of their peer group and this new series of programmes will bring the Sugar experience right into their homes.”
