Northcliffe Newspapers Group has appointed Malcolm Pheby as managing director of its Lincolnshire Publishing Company.
Pheby was named Newspaper Industry Editor of the Year in 1993, and has previously edited the Evening Star. He came to Northcliffe from the Express, where he was assistant editor.
He commented: “It is a privilege to be appointed managing director at Lincoln. I look forward immensely to joining such a community-focussed and forward thinking publishing business. I shall do my best to continue and strengthen this impetus.”
