Future Presses On With Frontiers
Following a pilot issue in March this year (see First Issue Review – Frontiers), Future Publishing has given the go-ahead to its science and technology magazine, Frontiers.
The monthly will launch fully on 4 September with a £1 first issue along with a promotional campaign, something the pilot lacked. The second issue is to feature a covermounted CD-ROM.
A spokesperson for the magazine said that the test issue sold well over its target of 50% of print run and was well-received. The first issue will have a print run of 95,000; the second and subsequent issues will fall back to 85,000 and will be priced £2.50.
