McDonalds Buys Opus Network Spot
McDonalds has bought a national radio ad campaign using GWR’s Network Spot which covers the Group’s 31 AM and FM stations.
GWR sales house Opus, unveiled the Network Spot in April this year (see GWR’s Opus Launches New Ad Plan) to offer advertisers a one minute prime-time spot just after the news between 11am and 6pm across the GWR network.
McDonalds is using the Spot to promote ice-cream in its restaurants. “The solus environment of the spot means that a client such as McDonalds receives a far higher profile, with far greater brand exposure.”
The deal was negotiated on behalf of McDonalds by Leo Burnett.
