Gay And Lesbian Paper Gets Revamp
The Pink Paper, Chronos Publishing’s gay and lesbian weekly, is undergoing a redesign and a change of focus and content.
From 10 September the title will move away from its current newspaper format toward coverage of a broader range of lifestyle and entertainment features.
Chronos wants to take the paper away from the agressive political activism which has typified much of its content since the late 1980s. The repositioning is intended to reflect “the gains that have been made and the informational needs and interests of today’s lesbians and gay men.”
New content will include sections on fashion, internet, ents and interviews as well as more serious ‘life-issues’ and an expanded HIV and AIDS page.
