Sales Promotions At Atlantic 252

Travis Baxter, managing director of Atlantic 252 has announced a number of promotions in the station’s sales department creating three new directors. Dave Atkey becomes operations director, Alison Victory becomes marketing director and Steve Johnson moves from sales controller to sales director. At the same time, Johnson has promoted Alison Deas to sales controller.

Johnson said: “Advertisers are increasingly aware of the spending power of today’s young adults and the unique relationship radio has with its audience.”

Johnson is developing the station-advertiser relationship with the appointment of a dedicated client sales manager. Last week Atlantic appointed MTV’s David Dunne as its new programme director (see Atlantic 252 Continues Youth Focus With Appointment Of MTV’s Programme Director).
