Electronic Telegraph Becomes A Bookworm

Electronic Telegraph has announced that as part of its content redesign and relaunch, it is going to launch an online bookstore next week, www.booksonline.co.uk, which will feature book reviews and editorials and enable browsers to buy titles without having to reel through catalogues and databases for them. It will be updated every Thursday.

The general relaunch of The Electronic Telegraph will also involve the addition of a new motoring section, a new masthead and brand identity and new daily features and reviews magazines.

General manager of The Electronic Telegraph, Danny Meadows-Klue, said:”www.booksonline.co.uk is a big step forward. It integrates great editorial content with an effortless opportunity to purchase. This is the future of electronic commerce.”

The Daily Telegraph newspaper recently announced that it will be running a new senior appointments section (see Newsline)
