GWR Chief Predicts Bumper Month For Radio
GWR group director of sales and marketing Simon Ward is predicting a bumper month for commercial radio during the World Cup tournament. He says that advertisers will increase radio spend in “the face of disrupted TV schedules, unpredictable TV pricing and audience confusion.”
Ward adds: “All the indications are there for a very good month, particularly for the local radio market place. Radio availability is already under pressure for June following a very buoyant Spring and we are now advising our clients to talk sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.”
