NatMags Creates Cross-Title Sales And Promotions Unit

The National Magazine Company has set up a new unit to offer centralised promotions and sales across its 12-title portfolio. This portfolio includes Cosmopolitan and Zest.

The department is to be called Central Sales and Promotions – The Solutions Network. Through The Solutions Network clients will have the opportunity to set up advertising, advertorials and promotions across any of the publisher’s magazines.

Tim Lucas will become director of central sales and promotions and Jennifer Sharp will head a project management division designed to actually implement the solutions.

Lucas said: “We already have extensive relationships with agencies and clients which encompass trading and the provision of solutions based on print, but this change will allow us to further develop our expertise in different categories and to offer a continuously improving service. We look forward to talking to our colleagues in agencies and marketing departments about how magazines work and working with them to produce candidate solutions.”
