The Confederation of European Paper Industries is organising an ad hoc meeting to consider the possibility of adopting a European Environmental Agreement on the use of graphic paper by the industries involved at all stages of the European paper chain. The project comes in the wake of the EC Communication of last year advising the industry to adopt such environmental agreements as part of the efforts to broaden the range of policy instruments in this area.
