Emap Launches ‘Red’ Sampler

Emap Elan will be distributing mini-copies of its new magazine Red to various stores and newsagents as part of a £2 million promotional campaign for the title which launches on January 15.

Kathryn Brown, editor of Red, says that the new glossy is for ‘modern women’ who have responsibilities but are are “still interested in style, passion and enjoying themselves.” As well as recipes, beauty and fashion, other snippets in the mini issue include an interview with Matt Dillon and a competition to win a car.

A first issue review of Red will appear on Newsline next week.
