Snickers Sign £1m Radio Sponsorship Deal

Snickers has agreed a £1 million deal to sponsor radio coverage of the France 98 World Cup.

The tie-up is the first example of the four main radio sales houses working together to sign a high-profile brand. Capital Advertising, Emap on Air, Opus and SIRS joined forces to offer advertisers access to news bulletins and World Cup commentaries across all of their stations.

The six-week package was negotiated by Drum PHD and Capital Advertising.
