Volkswagen has signed a multi-million pound twelve month deal with Channel 4 which will see the car manufacturer sponsor the broadcaster’s entire sports output.
The tie-up, which will see C4’s sports rebranded as “Sport on Four”, is expected to begin in April when present sponsorship deals end. C4’s current sports coverage includes Football Italia, horse racing, athletics and American Football.
It is understood that sponsorship credits will feature different Volkswagen brands though at present the details of the deal are still being negotiated.
