AMV Tops Campaign Agency Table
Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO has retained its place at the top of the Campaign “Top 30 Agencies” table, with AC Nielson MEAL billings of £355.86m for 1997.
Ogilvy & Mather move up a place from last year to number 2 with £271.08m while Saatchi & Saatchi makes it to number three from last year’s position of number 5. JWT, meanwhile, has slipped from second to fourth with a drop in ACN MEAL billings of 9% year on year to £252.64m.
Among the media specialists Zenith again comes top, with ACN MEAL billings of £615.09m while TMD retains its number 2 position with £451.81m. MediaVest, BMP Optimum and Mediapolis all retain their respective positions as third, fourth and fifth.
