ITV has teamed up once again with Britannia Music in a sponsorship deal for its Record Of The Year 1998 programmes. Britannia has sponsored ITV’s broadcast of the Brit Awards for the last five years, and the event itself for the last ten years.
Record Of The Year will air on Saturday 12 December with a list of 20 nominees, and is to be hosted by the ubiquitous Denise Van Outen. The top ten, and eventual winner, will be shown on 19 December.
The deal was negotiated by Granada Media’s Sally Blackburn on behalf of ITV.
