Mediapolis Raises £46,600 for Charity
Last night saw the annual charity auction ran by Mediapolis at WCRS, Golden Square, London. This year’s charity, for the second year running, was the Pepper Foundation, which provides hospice care for children in their homes.
This year the evening raised an impressive £46,600. The event auctions off various items donated by clients and friends of Mediapolis, the earnings of which go to the charity in question. Donations this year came from Carat, Zenith and TMB, amongst others.
One of MediaTel’s directors, Jeannette Thomas, gave £270 for the hire of a BMW Z3 Roadster for the weekend.
The night has been going for the last 6 years, and Mediapolis’ managing director Mark Mendoza was positive about the event: ” The efforts of the media industry and it’s clients mean that 2 nurses can be employed to help terminally ill children next year. In a cynical business it’s fantastic to see the lengths people will go to in order to help a good cause. On behalf of the Pepper Nurses and the children they help I’d like to thank everyone who contributed in any way for their support.”
