Talk Radio is to launch a new breakfast show hosted by Nick Ferrari and David Banks.
Ferrari was previously with Live!TV, where he was responsible for getting rid of the News Bunny in the relaunch of the channel (see Newsline). Banks was formerly editor of The Daily Mirror, and both presenters have 30 years of journalistic experience.
They move from their Sunday afternoon slot Big Boys Noise to the Sunday morning breakfast show which will run from 6-9am, and feature celebrity guests and ‘intelligent observations on life and living’.
Nick Ferrari was looking forward to the new project and commented: “Banksie and I were made to be together. He’s a fat, dopey Northerner who votes Labour and has liberal tendencies. I, of course, am a suave, erudite Southerner with incisive political acumen. Tune in if you don’t believe this!”
