Boddingtons Clinches First Broadcast Sponsorship Deal
ITV has announced that Boddingtons is to sponsor Carlton’s new Skinner and Baddiel series, Fantasy World Cup Live, which ITV describes as a major element of the Network’s World Cup programming. The deal represents Boddingtons’ first broadcast sponsorship.
Fantasy World Cup Live is to be broadcast at 10:40pm daily across the ITV Network throughout the duration of the Word Cup (9 June – 12 July). The original Fantasy Football programme was broadcast on BBC 2.
The deal was negotiated by David Prosser at Carlton on behalf of ITV Sponsorship Committee, Andy Roberts at Motive on behalf of Whitbread and Jon Thoday at Avalon Television, the programme’s producers.
The creative work is handled by Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) and will consist of a 15 second front credit, 5 second break bumpers and a 10 second end credit.
