CLT-ufa Receives Bids For Talk

Kelvin MacKenzie’s consortium (see MacKenzie Leaves Mirror Group To Bid For Talk Radio) has made an offer for Talk Radio which is believed to be around the £20 million mark. A bid from Talk’s management team last week (see Talk Radio Management Submits Bid) is also thought to be valued at £15-20 million.

CLT-ufa has been hoping to secure a sale worth around £60 million for its CLT-Ufa UK Radio division which holds assets in Talk, RTL Country, Atlantic 252 and Xfm. All but Xfm are included in the sale of CLT-ufa UK Radio.

The Luxembourg-based company will not comment on the details of any received offers.
