The Dialog Corporation has announced that its executive vice president Jeffrey Galt has resigned. Galt was also formerly the president of Knight-Ridder Information, the company which merged with MAID to create Dialog (see Maid Acquisition To Go Ahead).
Galt is also relinquishing his position on Dialog’s Board with effect from 26 June 1998. Of this move he says: “I am looking forward to seeking other professional opportunities. I feel confident that The Dialog Corporation is in good hands.”
Dialog, at http://www.dialog.com/, recently reported turnover of £44.8 million for the first quarter of 1998. Pre-tax profit stood at £2.5 million.
