NTL Internet has announced the acquisition of NetChannel UK, the internet-TV access and content provider, for $1 million.
NetChannel will now become a division of NTL Internet, providing web-TV across all of NTL’s cable franchises. These include areas such as the South-East of England and the main cities of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
It has been known for some time that NetChannel was being eyed by a number of potential suitors (subscribers see Takeover Rumours Surround NetChannel).
