Advertorial Guidelines

The PPA has published guidelines for sponsored editorial and special advertising opportunities such as advertorials in conjunction with the British Society of Magazine Editors. The guidelines have been drawn up following draft guidelines introduced in March 1993. The guidelines are to ensure that advertising of this kind works for the benefit of readers, advertisers and publishers.

There have been some amendments to the draft; advertorials and sponsored editorial must be clearly flagged with company’s name.
