O’Sullivan Plans A Batch Of New Magazine Launches

Sally O’Sullivan, ex IPC editor-in-chief of Ideal Home, has poached a number of IPC staff and is set to launch 12 new magazines in as many months. The new publishing company Cabal Communications, of which O’Sullivan is chief executive, will open its doors sometime this month.

It is understood that the first few launches, possibly appearing before Christmas, will include a men’s lifestyle title, a women’s title and a weekly magazine. It is only a month since O’Sullivan left her post at Ideal Home (see Ideal Home Loses Editor-In-Chief).

Joining the Cabal team will be Sarah Bravo who has just left the editor’s job at Living etc (see IPC Appoints New Editor For Living etc).

The company is hoping eventually to branch into internet publishing and television programmes.
