Channel 5 advertising revenue for the first six months of the year is below forecasts according to a trading statement issued by United News & Media (UNM), holders of a 29% stake in the channel.
UNM’s channel 3 businesses, HTV, Anglia and Meridian, all showed revenues ahead of expectations. HTV revenue is predicted to rise by over 50% during the calender year.
