Disney’s new film Aladdin, which opened across Britain on December 3 has already taken £2.4m at the box office. During the opening weekend alone it made double the money of Beauty and The Beast. It features the voice of Robin Williams as the genie and includes Tim Rice’s Oscar-winning single A Whole New World.
