Havas Media Ireland formed after GT Media merger

Havas Media Group has joined forces with GT Media to launch Havas Media Ireland, as the agency looks to strengthen its position in the Irish media landscape.

The move comes as part of an investment programme from Havas Media Group in Europe following recent international wins for Disney, Iglo Group, LG Electronics and Emrates.

The two agencies have been working together informally since 2012, with GT Media – which was established by Graham Taylor in 1983 – managing Havas’ international clients in the Irish market, including Betfair, Clarks and Birds Eye. GT Media’s own clients include Colortrend Paints, Dyson and Honda.

Under the new deal, Taylor will become CEO of Havas Media Ireland, whith the senior team at GT Media continuing to play key roles in the future of the business.

“We are delighted to strengthen our relationship with Havas Media Group and it’s great news for both our staff and clients,” said Taylor. “We believe the time is right for a new kind of agile and forward thinking media agency in Ireland.”
