PA NewsCentre, the news and information website from the Press Association, has obtained its first ABC //electronic certificate.
The certificate shows that the site, http://www.pa.press.net/, recorded 4.684 million page impressions for the audit period 31 July to 30 August 1997. This makes PA NewsCentre the third busiest of UK sites certified so far, behind the Times and Electronic Telegraph.
Geoffrey Copeman, chairman of ABC //electronic, said: “We are very pleased to issue PA NewsCentre with its first certificate. The demand for ABC //electronic verification of web traffic continues to grow, and it is encouraging that some of the busiest news sites are leading the way in using our audit service.”
