Jazz Publishing has launched a bi-monthly magazine for the down-to-earth biker. 100% Biker contains features, technical articles, gossip and news produced by some of Britain’s top custom motorcycle journalists and photographers. The first issue goes on sale on 25 October priced £2.70.
Another magazine dedicated to Japanese performance cars is due to launch. Japanese Performance is published by CHPublications and edited by motoring journalist Martin Vincent. It goes on sale on 29 October, just weeks ahead of Banzai, a similar title by Unity Media (see Newsline Brief). The cover price is £2.95.
Trinity Mirror has launched a new women’s supplement, free with the Mirror every Tuesday. Entitled M, it is edited by the Mirror‘s deputy editor, Tina Weaver, who has enlisted feature writers from Marie Claire to provide content.
Paragon Publishing has relaunched its internet mag, What’s Online, in a bid to appeal to the changing audience of net users. From 25 November it will hit the newsstands as a more mainstream, family-friendly title offering non-technical advice and features on negotiating and using the web.
