Agency Information Service Launched On The Web

Information on advertising and media agencies throughout the world is now available on the internet through AdForum.com. The AdForum system has been put together by global information provider Maydream, the Department of Advertising at the University of Texas and a host of other advertising consultancy groups across the globe.

AdForum is designed to bring advertisers and agencies together by offering information on agencies’ current clients so that advertisers can check for conflicting business. The service also allows users to view agencies’ commercials through the AdFolio service.

Over 6,000 agencies are currently listed on the AdForum database and these are searchable using a range of criteria. Membership to AdForum is free, although a more sophisticated entry for agencies is charged at $2000 per year.
