GWR and Radio Investments are to buy the 50.02% stake in Minster Sound Radio which they do not already own. The two radio groups will pay up to £4.79 million for total ownership of the group, which holds a radio licence in York, Minster FM, and three licences in the north of England.
An offer of 975p per Minster share has been agreed, which values the company at £9.59 million. The two radio groups already hold stakes in the company: Radio Investments owns a 29.99% stake; GWR a 19.99% stake.
