Commercial Director Of IPC Electric Quits

Julian Hardy has quit as commerical director of IPC Electric after just three months in the role. It has been reported that he was expecting more from the position and was becoming frustrated by the increasing involvement of the division’s head René Carayol.

IPC Electric was unveiled as the internet division of IPC Magazines in September (see IPC Electric Is Unveiled). Its major project so far has been the development of a dedicated women’s portal, which has yet to launch (see ANM And Freeserve Unveil Women’s Web Offerings).

The appointment of Kevin Kerrigan as operations director of the IPC Electric division was announced this week but it is unclear if he will directly replace Hardy. Kerrigan is moving back to IPC after two years at Pan European Publishing Company.
